Unlike traditional crystallised ginger, our Natural Bare Ginger Discs are not coated in granulated sugar. With up to 20% less sugar than other dried ginger, these tasty little beauties have an intense ginger flavour that will leave you reaching for more.
Origin
Made in Australia from one of the best varieties of ginger only found in the Shandong province, China.
Shandong is an affluent coastal province in the east of China, famous for being the birthplace of Confucius, and more recently, for its vast wine production due to its pristine natural environment.

Spicy ginger, soft, plump and slightly chewy like old fashioned candied fruit preserves. No excess sugar crystal crunch on the outside. Less sweet and fibrous than well known commercial brands - which I thought I loved until this. I would prefer that the ginger was grown in Australia (unless I misread?) - but this is generally a lovely product to eat or add to baked goods.

It's winter! Best item to have in pantry, oh, no, in our handbag for hubbies, kids! Just nice and so soothing and gentle on the throat. We cannot have enough of it! We brought it even in our cruise to Alaska recently. So glad we did when we needed it!
