Gingerbread Donuts

Ingredients

1/2 cup oat flour

1/2 cup almond flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp ground ginger
-
1/2 tsp allspice
-
pinch salt
-
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

2 eggs, beaten
-
1 tbsp blackstrap molasses
-
3 tbsp maple syrup
For the frosting
-
1/4 cup vegan cream cheese
-
1/4 cup icing sugar
-
1/2 tsp vanilla
-
Cinnamon, to sprinkle
Directions
Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a 12-hole silicone donut pan with spray oil.
In a mixing bowl, beat together your donut ingredients well until smooth.
Carefully spoon or pipe your batter into the donut pan.
Bake for 12 - 15 minutes, or until the donuts are raised and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Leave to cool slightly in the pan and then cool completely on a wire rack.
To make the frosting, whisk together all the ingredients until smooth. Spread over cooled donuts and to with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy
