Kids bored these school holidays? Get baking! These Cinnamon Twist treats are easy, fun, and the perfect way to get little hands helping in the kitchen. Made with our real deal Ceylon Cinnamon (because not all cinnamon is created equal!) It’s softer, naturally sweeter, and better for you (lower in coumarin + higher in antioxidants) than regular supermarket cassia cinnamon.Simple to make. Impossible to resist! These twists are guaranteed to disappear fast!
Ingredients

2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)

3 tbsp softened butter

½ cup sugar

3 tsp cinnamon

⅓ tsp cardamom
Toppings

A sprinkle of demerara sugar

Pinch of salt
Directions
Heat oven to 200°C + line a tray with baking paper.
Mix sugar, cinnamon, cardamom + salt.
Brush butter over pastry sheets, sprinkle sugar + spice mix, press lightly.
Stack the second pastry on top + slice into strips.
Twist each strip. Sprinkle with demerara sugar + flaky salt.
Bake 27 mins until golden + crisp.
