Spookify your snacks this spooky season! Our Boo Bark is the easiest way to give the viral Date Bark a frightfully festive twist!

Ingredients
-
Medjool Dates
-
Nut butter of preference
-
Dark chocolate
-
White chocolate
-
Candy eyes
Directions
Make the white chocolate ghosts
Print a page of ghost outlines (you can find plenty on Google or Canva)
On a solid surface (like a chopping board), layer the printed page and then place a sheet of baking paper over the top.
Melt the white chocolate, stirring through a small amount of coconut oil.
Spoon the melted white chocolate onto the baking paper, using the ghost outlines underneath as a guide for your shapes.
Add candy eyes while the chocolate is still soft and place in the fridge to set
Make the Medjool base
On another flat surface (like a chopping board or baking tray), arrange your pitted Medjool dates so they slightly overlap - use as many as you need for the size slice you want.
Place a sheet of baking paper over the top and, using a glass or rolling pin, smoosh and roll the dates together until they form a solid, flat layer.
Spread your chosen nut butter evenly over the date layer.
Melt the dark chocolate with a small amount of coconut oil.
Pour melted chocolate over the nut butter layer and spread evenly. Optional: Add a few small dollops of nut butter on top and swirl through the chocolate for a decorative effect.
Gently place the set white chocolate ghosts on top of the slice.
- Refrigerate until completely firm.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy your spooky Boo Bark!
