Turn brownie and almond flakes into little Christmas magic with this Almond Pine Cone hack! The cutest festive dessert to wow your guests this Christmas!
Ingredients
-
Brownie, cupcakes, or chocolate cake (homemade or store-bought)
-
Almond flakes, well toasted (so they don’t break)
-
Chocolate of choice, for melting
-
Icing sugar, for dusting
Directions
Using a cake mixer or your hands, crumble the brownie/cake/cupcakes and combine until it forms a dough. If it’s too dry, add a little cream cheese.
Roll and shape the dough into small pyramid shapes using your hands.
Press toasted almond flakes into the brownie bites, starting wide at the bottom and narrowing at the top. (The more toasted the almonds, the less likely they are to break.)
Dip each pine cone into melted chocolate - yes, it can get messy!
Refrigerate until set.
Dust with icing sugar before serving!
