Known in Italian as Salvia, our pantry must-have, is a culinary and medicinal herb native to the Mediterranean region.
At the Wholefoods Refillery, we use Sage Leaves for their mild peppery flavour in the kitchen, making them the perfect addition when making European cuisine. Some of our favourite uses of Sage Leaves are for sausages, poultry stuffing, pork roasts, mushrooms, pasta and various other Italian inspired dishes.
